Every item is hand- cut and hand-made by a master craftsman at our Castleford premises to the client’s individual pattern. And all my bespoke suits are handmade to your precise requirements to create a garment that is uniquely tailored to you.

Choose either my entry level Made To Measure. Mid range Semi Bespoke. Or my top end traditional Full Bespoke. Rest assured that all my suits are genuinely handmade to your individual measure. I do not outsource any part of your order to a third party.

Having been in the tailoring industry since 1984, Desmond Merrion served a nine year apprenticeship under several world class bespoke tailors. Has seen every aspect of bespoke tailoring, having genuinely starting out on the shop floor read how I began here Eventually moving into cutting, pattern drafting, hand making, hand finishing and hand pressing. Desmond Merrion creates garments for all individuals, high end corporate accounts and celebrities. Desmond provides the finest quality garments cut and made on site, to the same exacting standards set by The Savile Row Association. And to this day, Desmond still makes bespoke suits for several world renowned Savile Row bespoke tailors.

Everything right down to the shade of buttonhole thread and real buffalo horn buttons are carefully matched to your requirements. A collaboration now begins between you and your tailor to commission something truly special.

We precisely hand cut your chosen cloth. Select and cut the appropriate weight body canvas for your coat and produce the skeleton baste fitting of your suit in preparation for your first fitting.

Bespoke tailoring is a process between the client, cutter and the bespoke tailors who assemble the garment.
