Gauntlet Cuff

I have recently made a three-piece suit for a client for his wedding. One of the style features we settled on was a gauntlet cuff to set his cuff off. The picture below shows the actual cuff basted in place.

We decided to only carry the cuff half way around the sleeve, so it’s only on the top section of the sleeve. This gives a very smart appearance to the suit sleeve when finished. The actual cuff was attached and finished by hand stitching it in place to give an added finished touch to the sleeve. If you look at the picture below you will see the real hand stitching on the edge of the cuff.
