As you go through my suit making process you may have some questions buzzing around in your mind.  Hopefully I can answer some of them here, but the rule is always feel free to ask!

Where are Your Garments Made?
I am a bespoke tailor working the traditional purist way, that is all my work is CUT AND MADE on the premises in my own workroom by me.  My workroom is based at my home in North Lincolnshire, where I have everything I require to make top-class suits. Like most workrooms it is basic but it's perfectly adequate. Remember, this is a working tailors workroom not a shop front.
Clients are more than welcome to visit or watch me work on their suit, if they have the time, from start to finish. I am totally transparent in my business - with nothing to hide. You are paying for my expertise to make you a fabulous suit in the best fabrics with the finest trimmings... not paying for me to maintain flash premises.

How Long Does It take?
Usually I try my best to have your garment finished in 4-6 weeks, although some can take longer depending on the number of fittings required. A crucial matter of turnaround is also reliant on the clients location and the availability of my client to be able to fit me in to their schedule for the various fitting stages.

I can also offer an express service which enables me to make a suit from order to finish in just 1 week ( this is only possible because I cut and make my own work ) There is a premium of 60% on the listed prices for this service as I have to stop work on someone else's suit to do yours and burn a little of the old midnight oil.

Customers that may need this service, must have the time at the fitting stage, to wait for me to do any alterations required there and then and retry on.
This is a very limited service and aimed at those clients who for example get a last minute invite to dinner with the CEO - "My God, I need a new suit for Friday!"

What Do I get For My Money?
When anyone commissions me to make their garments, you are getting one of the very last ( if not the last ) craftsman in the UK today that will actually be cutting and making your suits from start to finish personally. You are paying for me, one craftsman, to spend hour and hours of intense labour, placing thousands of tiny hand stitches, sculpting a garment to your figure with the fitting process's I conduct. You are not paying for expensive retail premises, flash salesmen or out-worker costs which are then passed on to you the customer like other tailors do.

What If I Am Unsure About My Requirements?
Not all clients know exactly what they want on their first visit to me and may feel a little inexperienced or embarrassed to try and explain to me their requirements. There is no need to worry or feel embarrassed, I am easy to approach and will listen carefully to what you say.

We will discuss together your requirements whilst at the same time we will be looking through the numerous cloth bunches - I have to find the right cloth for your needs. If you are at my workroom we will also have a cup of tea! I do not have any precut "special offer buy it now because it is cheap cloth lengths" lying around in my workroom. I only offer fabrics to my clients from reputable cloth merchants, the cloth length to make your suit will only be cut from the cloth merchants stock of fabric once you have placed an order.
